The Whitetip Reef Shark (Triaenodon obesus) is a large reef-dwelling shark that's found in the Indo-Pacific. It has a unique physical appearence, with a large white spot on it's dorsal fin. It is a slow growing shark, reaching up to 5 feet for a typical adult. This shark is a nocturnal feeder, and likes to prey on Bony Fishes and large crustaceans.
